Yadah Pore Refining Foam Cleanser Review

Updated: Oct 27, 2020

A foam cleanser is one of the very few skincare items my husband actually remembers to use. But only if it’s around and easy to find. Otherwise, he will definitely just use shower gel… When I saw the Yadah Pore Refining Foam Cleanser at TJ Maxx, I snatched it up. It’s also sold on* eBay and YesStyle.

I’m a fan of Yadah products (at least the ones I’ve tried have all been wonderful). This cleanser is 8-free (made without 8 controversial ingredients) and promises to gently exfoliate and refine pores. I put it in the most visible spot in the shower, so my husband actually used it. He has fairly oily skin with enlarged pores.

The results were nearly immediate. His pores looked less congested and smaller. Of course, I tried the product myself as well (partially because I was curious, but mostly because asking my spouse to describe skincare is like pulling teeth).

I liked this cleanser. It foams well (much better than what I can show in the picture. I have to try to foam it in my hands, and then snap a photo without getting the whole camera wet and soapy - it’s hard!). The skin is clean but not tight or stripped. I think this product will work well for combination and oily skin types. I’m not sure about dryer skin - probably still OK, but I don’t have anyone with dry skin in my household.
