Whamisa Organic Flowers Serum Peeling Finger Mitt Review

I love exfoliation, but it needs to be gentle. Sure, there’s a time and place for robust in-office professional peels, but for my combination skin slow and steady works well.

Whamisa Organic Flowers Serum Peeling Finger Mitt pads contain gentle PHA and fermented ingredients for glowing skin without irritation and flaking. I received them for free. These can be purchased on* Amazon (use my affiliate code kbhobbit10 to save on all Credithink offerings).

The pads are thin and fairly soft with embossed “bumps”. Both sides are identical in texture - the little pocket in the middle is to use them as a mitt for easier application. The smell is prominent and floral. I happen to love it. It doesn’t linger.

How to use:

  • Gently swipe over face after cleansing

  • Can be used 1-2 times a day

I am using these peeling pads about every other day, but started with just two times a week. Perhaps daily use is appropriate for some people, but I would recommend starting slow and gauging the skin’s reaction. Patch testing is a good idea as well.

The whole concept of peeling pads in kbeauty can be slightly confusing. There are robust pads like the iconic Neogen gauze (review here) that are truly meant to be used 1-2 times a week (and the face needs to be rinsed after use). Then, there are pads like Purito (review here) that still call themselves peeling, but are actually very gentle daily toner pads with a little bit of exfoliating ingredients. The Whamisa Organic Flowers Serum Peeling Finger Mitts seem to belong with Purito and not with Neogen. I hope that helps the reader.

My impressions

Whamisa is quickly becoming a favorite for me. Their lip scrub (review here) started my love for the brand - from the packaging to scents to results.

I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry-to-normal u-zone. I find that regular, gentle exfoliation allows my other products to work better. Plus, everything looks more even and I don’t get pilling even when using many skincare steps.

Whamisa Organic Flowers peeling pads (I cannot bring myself to type out the full name anymore, my fingers are getting tired) have been wonderful. While I’m not huge into fragrances, I do enjoy this one. My skin is looking refreshed and feels softer to the touch. I will definitely continue to use these as part of my routine.
