Until recently, buying lip products and using them were two completely separate hobbies for me. However, I’ve been making an effort to actually apply all my lippies. One of my recent additions is Unleashia Non-Sticky Dazzle Tint, available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), and Stylevana (code INF10KBH).
The tint comes in 8 colors; mine is No. 3 Glow Day.
N°1 Blink: Tangerine red color with opal and gold glitter.
N°2 Sunbeam: Rose red color with gold and pink opal glitter.
N°3 Glow Day: Mauve pink color with blue and pink gold glitter.
N°4 Humming: Muted pink color with pink opal and blue gold glitter.
N°5 Nice Step: Soft coral color with pink gold and opal glitter.
N°10 Pink Muhly: Pink muhly-like soft color with gold glitter.
N°11 Gentle Tiger: Ruby grapefruit color with orange glitter.
N°12 Flamingo: Vivid flamingo pink color with blue and purple glitter.

Unleashed Dazzle Tints are made with rosehip, avocado, olive and jojoba seed oils to nourish the lips.

The marketing materials promise a “natural, glossy look”. Hmm, I don’t know about the natural part - I have never seen natural lips this color - but that doesn’t mean I don’t love it. The tint is very easy and pleasant to apply. As promised, it’s not sticky. I wouldn’t call the formula super long lasting - it does leave marks on mugs and people. However, when it fades, it does so evenly and still looks nice, even if I don’t reapply it. A bit of color remains on the lips for the majority of the day.
My impressions
When I first saw Unleashia Non-Sticky Dazzle Tint, I thought that the color was definitely not for me. I had no point of reference - no web listing to refer to - because the tint came to me in an advent calendar and was a total surprise (watch the unboxing here). I assumed that the color would be close to how it looked in the tube - muted, brick/brown, and too dark for my very fair complexion.
I pondered giving it away before trying it. For hygienic reasons, passing lip products to friends isn’t something I typically do. However, the color looked quite different on the applicator than from the outside of the tube, so I gave it a try. It was love at first use! The hue is stunning - deep, complex, beautiful. My lips are on the dry side and the best I usually hope for with makeup is to not exacerbate the dryness. But Unleashia Dazzle Tint actually moisturizes the skin, while simultaneously camouflaging the dry areas. I don’t necessarily notice the blue or pink gold glitter promised by the description. Yes, it’s sparkly, but my eyes can’t pick out the nuance. All I know is that the finished product looks great and brings me a lot of joy.
As an intern so kindly pointed out to me recently, most lip colors in my purse look exactly the same. They are all pastel, peachy-beige, and overall “safe” choices. I don’t generally go for deep, dark, or bold colors. But this Unleashia tint is making me get out of my comfort zone a bit and I’m here for it. It’s definitely different from my other lip colors. Too bad the intern already left, so I cannot show off to her.
Overall, a huge and unexpected win. So far, I’ve loved every Unleashia product I’ve tried. I will probably be getting my hands on more of their offerings.
