Peeling gels were my first kbeauty love. No other product category wowed me as much or as quickly. TIA'M Berry Very Soft Peeling Gel, available on eBay, is a gentle exfoliating gel infused with cellulose that promises to soften and brighten the skin.
How to use
Cleanse and dry the face
Gently massage a moderate amount of TIA’M Berry Gel over the face, avoiding the eye area
Rinse and follow with the rest of your routine
The peeling gel has a very faint scent and a pleasant, soft texture. I do feel the cellulose pill as I massage the skin, but it’s not uncomfortable or abrasive.
My impressions
I love this peeling gel, but I have a sneaking suspicion it’s been discontinued - that’s why I can only find it on eBay now. What a shame, really. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry/normal everything else. I love a good peeling gel to remove any buildup / immediately soften the skin. This one has been gentle enough for occasional use even though I’m on tretinoin. I’m all for chemical exfoliation, but I still looooooove a good, effective physical scrub down. I use the term “scrub down” loosely here - TIA’M Berry Gel has nothing in common with the abrasive walnut shell products of my teens. The effects are fantastic and immediate - my face feels super soft and smooth, and anything else I put on it afterwards absorbs extra well. My favorite post-peeling gel product is Dr. Ceuracle Kombucha essence - it’s a combo made in skincare heaven.
