I write a ton about skincare and will likely publish my 1000th post before 2024 is over. But there is so much more to beauty and well-being than topical products. Most experts agree that quality sleep is paramount for good health, but it’s also important when it comes to appearance. The experts at Sleep & Glow designed special pillows, blankets, and accessories for the best beauty sleep possible. But do they really work?

If you aren’t new to my blog, you may have seen me talk about Sleep & Glow before. I have been enjoying the Omnia pillow for three years and it’s truly life changing. Save on all your Sleep & Glow purchases with my affiliate code KB10 on the brand’s official site

Feel free to read my original Omnia review and Aula review, but here’s a quick recap:

  • The Omnia pillow is specially designed for side sleepers. It supports the head and neck without squishing the face or causing unwanted lines and wrinkles. Back sleepers can enjoy the Omnia as well - it’s very comfortable if you are already used to sleeping on your back.

  • The Aula pillow is designed for people like me - side sleepers aspiring to learn to be back sleepers. When it comes to preventing lines and wrinkles, sleeping on the back is ideal, but some of us struggle with that. The Aula provides gentle side support to help the sleeper get comfy and rest without rolling over.

Sleep & Glow has some impressive research to back up their claims. I like to focus on my own experience, but you can read all about the science behind sleep and other useful info here.

My impressions

I love my Sleep & Glow pillows, especially the Omnia. At this point, I’m not sure I could survive without it. I’m a side sleeper and that is unlikely to change. Unfortunately, I don’t have any “before” pictures, but I used to wake up with pretty deep sleep lines every morning. They didn’t bother me, but now that they are no longer there - great! I don’t miss them. The main reason I reached out to Sleep & Glow all those years ago were a few reviews that mentioned neck and shoulder pain relief from the pillow. I wholeheartedly concur that my neck and shoulders feel a million times better with Omnia. I have a sneaking suspicion that my body is a lemon - I have hypermobile joints, tons of stress, and something is almost always hurting. The Omnia helps in a very noticeable way.

I’ve seen cheaper pillows, but you are paying for quality here. Three years of nearly nightly use (except a few vacations), and the pillow is still like new. No loss of shape or volume - just as wonderfully supportive as night one. Speaking of vacations - I miss my pillow when I’m gone. Not only do my neck and shoulders feel less than ideal, but I also notice those pesky sleep lines in the morning (usually on just one side, somehow making the whole look even worse).

The Aula has been helpful as well, but I totally failed at converting to a back sleeper. I’m still using the pillow regularly - when I follow guided meditations or take much needed mid-day naps. All I need is the Aula and a roller / bolster under my knees - it’s so nice and relaxing. A perfect pose to use one of those hydrogel face masks that should stay on the skin for 2+ hours, or to do a red light therapy session.

Sleep & Glow pillowcases deserve a special mention. They are great! I change my cases frequently for hygiene reasons, and originally I was using whatever cases I happened to already own. But trust me, it’s great to have a case made specifically for the pillows - nothing shifts around. I use the optional height adjusters, and the pillowcases keep the pillow + the adjuster exactly where they need to be. This Summer, Sleep & Glow gifted me their Starry Sky mulberry silk pillowcase and it’s the best one yet. So beautiful. Plus, silk causes less friction and breakage / wear and tear on hair and skin.

So, is Sleep & Glow worth it? To me, yes! If something happened to my pillows (or my weighted blanket), I would immediately order replacements. Yes, with my own money. 10/10 highly recommended.
