Su:m37 Water-full Rebalancing Gel Emulsion is a light product with fermented ingredients that promises to keep the skin moisturized for hours, improve texture and firmness. It’s available on Jolse.
If you are not familiar, emulsion is a type of moisturizer that has a lighter texture than cream; sometimes it’s referred to as a “lotion”. It can be used as the only moisturizer or followed by a more occlusive cream.
How to use
Apply after toner and essence

Follow with sunscreen (if using in the morning)
The glass pump bottle contains a watery gel with a very faint scent. It’s very easy to spread and absorbs almost immediately. Because of the plethora of ingredients, many of them plant extracts, I strongly suggest patch testing this emulsion, especially if you have sensitive or reactive skin. I had no issues with it, but we are all different.
My impressions
I love this emulsion. I almost wish I didn’t love it this much (because of the price tag). The texture is perfect - it’s moisturizing without being heavy and makes my skin so smooth and supple.
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and usually don’t use moisturizers in the AM (other than sunscreen). However, I’ve been introducing adapalene lately and needing some extra moisture, so I added su:m37 Water-full Rebalancing Gel Emulsion to my morning routine right before sunscreen. It gets absorbed quickly, works well under SPF and makeup, and is overall perfect. It’s probably not moisturizing enough for the evening routine, but simply great for mornings.
I adore the simple but sophisticated bottle design (plus it’s glass!) and the convenient pump. I can’t find a single thing about this product that I dislike, other than the price like I already mentioned. However, Jolse does have the most affordable pricing out of all the options I was able to find online.
I do think it improves the texture as far as making the skin soft and smooth to the touch (especially if you had dry patches before), but it likely won’t address any major concerns like raised or pitted zones. As far as firmness, I do not have any issues with that yet (or I’m in denial), but I see prevention as being even more important than treatment.
This was my first introduction to su:m37 brand and the impression is overwhelmingly positive. I definitely want to explore more of their offerings.
