I love Romand - their glasting lip glosses and other makeup are almost always a hit for me. The glasting melting balms combine non-irritatnig botanical oils and waxes in a perfect ratio for glossy, nourishing perfection.
Romand makes the balms in 7 colors, available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), Stylevana (code INF10KBH), and Olive Young (code KBHOBBIT77). I chose 04 Hippie Berry with some help from a friend. I typically gravitate toward safe, peachy / nude colors, so getting a red was way out of my comfort zone.
How to use
Swipe a moderate amount over the lips
The formula is very soft, creamy, and easy to apply. Because of the glossy and semi-transparent color, I don’t have to be as precise with application as I would with a more traditional lipstick formula. The color isn’t super long lasting but leaves a bit of a tint on the lips once the gloss wears off.
I do not notice a scent or any flavor, which is a win in my book.
My impressions
I love this and I’m so glad that I went with a juicy red shade. The balm is nourishing without being greasy or sticky. The color fades evenly and doesn’t require re-application (unless you want to maintain the vibrant glossiness). I would love to get more colors, but I am trying to finish off the lippies I already own first.
