I’m not a huge makeup fan (and to be completely honest, I am not very good at applying it). However, I enjoy getting fancy every so often, and after a year of wearing a mask in every public place, I’m ready to use lipstick at every mask-less opportunity!
Rom&nd (or Romand) is a fairly new to me brand - I’ve had a couple of their lip products and an eyeshadow palette and really enjoyed them. So when StyleKorean had their latest Try Me Review Me campaign for Rom&nd, of course I applied! And I won! Yay! All the products are available on StyleKorean.
While I’m not 100% sure of my undertone, I chose the Cool Tone kit because the colors appealed to be more. I’m not sorry.

I find the eyeshadow quad totally adorable. It’s a perfect travel size and is easy to apply even for someone who only has average makeup skills like myself. The colors are great and seem to last well on me.
The blush is also nice. I do not wear blushes often, but I like this one. The cool tone saves me from looking like I just took a hike in the snow, which is sometimes the case with warm toned blushes.
The true star of the whole set is the Tint Kit. These are minis that don’t feel so “mini”. In fact, I think they are the perfect size since I can’t remember ever actually finishing a full size lip product.
Juicy Lasting Tint Mini #06 Fig Fig - this one is my favorite! Not particularly long lasting, but so beautiful. And when it fades, it does so gradually and evenly, so there’s no pressure to reapply. I love the subtle glossy finish too. The formula is exactly like the “glasting” tint that made it to my lip favorites video (that one is full size and a different color; I adore both of them). I reach for Fig Fig the most.
Juicy Lasting Tint Mini #12 Cherry Bomb - another great tint! More noticeable than the fig fig, but not nearly the commitment that the zero velvet requires. Lovely color, glossy finish, and even wear-off. I reach for this one often.
Zero Velvet Tint Mini #07 Fizz - I’m not a huge fan of this one, although it’s not a total fail either. The velvet tint is long lasting - it survives my breakfast and coffee plus water and snacks while I work. It’s easy to apply, although do not expect a perfect edge unless you are using a lip brush or maybe a lip liner. The finish is semi-matte.
Where I struggle is how this fades / wears off. It starts to wear off from the middle, leaving a red outline around the lips. This could be a trendy look in a way, but I don’t love it. Plus if you have any dry areas, the tint tends to stick more there, so I end up walking around with weirdly patchy lips. Perhaps in a more neutral color it wouldn’t be this noticeable, but the red for sure stands out. If you decide to wear this one, definitely take it with you for reapplying.
