I’m guilty of neglecting my hands and then trying to fix the damage. This year (ok, since 2020, but I swear it feels like 2020 is still in progress) I tried to be a lot more proactive about preventing the dryness, cracking, and redness. Caring for the hands goes beyond just aesthetics for me - when the skin barrier is compromised, it gets painful and incredibly difficult to go about daily activities like hand washing, cooking, and taking care of the kids.

This cream is made specifically for people who have frequent contact with water. And these days, I think that’s all of us. It contains 5 types of hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica (great for soothing all that redness), and barberry root extract (to soothe irritation).
This is probably my favorite hand cream of all time. It’s light but nourishing and not sticky at all. I keep it on my desk at work and use it often. I love that I can apply it, wait for maybe 30 seconds if that, and then continue using my keyboard and mouse without turning them into a sticky mess. And since this is fragrance free and vegan, I hope most people would enjoy it.

This is a nourishing cream that creates a long-lasting protective layer on the skin. It’s made with panthenol, allantoin, hyaluronic acid and milk vetch root extract.
This formula is thicker and richer than the Moisturizing Cream. It’s still pleasant and not sticky, but doesn’t get absorbed as easily as the other cream. I keep this tube next to the couch and use it in the evenings or before bed. If you have very dry skin and want each hand cream application to last through a few hand washes, then try this one.
If I had to pick just one cream, it would be the moisturizing option. However, I like and use both of them. In face skincare terms, the first one is my morning / day product and the second one is a sleeping pack.
My hands are so happy. I haven’t had a crack or bleed in a long time. Plus they feel so soft and smooth - it’s awesome. For more hand care tips, check out this video.
