In addition to the Lotus Seed Activator™, the essence contains a special vitamin complex to brighten and purify plus something called Sugar Fluid to deeply moisturize by “opening moisture pathways” (quote from YesStyle). This sounds quite high-tech and almost SciFi and I don’t have any way to prove or disprove those claims. Big words like that always make me a little skeptical though…
The essence has a watery consistency and no noticeable scent. The bottle is gorgeous - glass with the embossed brand name. I use this mostly at night just because I have more time to devote to my skincare before bed vs in the morning. It’s very hydrating and not sticky or heavy at all.
My impressions
This is… fine? Would I pay $40 for this? Not really. I hoped I would love the essence - people seemed really interested in this review when I posted the unboxing, and the packaging is so gorgeous. Plus the price point itself made me have high hopes.
I don’t love this. It’s fine, but it’s not any better than a million other watery essences that come in beautiful glass packaging. To be fair, my skin is already well hydrated and typically not looking dull. Someone who’s getting Primera New Miracle Seed Essence as their first essence ever might be completely blown away with the effects, but again - that would probably be the case with any good essence then, right?
It’s definitely not bad, but I’ve had it on my bathroom counter for months and don’t find myself reaching for it often. I used it many times to try and love it, but I just don’t. I don’t hate it, and it hydrates well, but it’s not a holy grail or a must have for me personally. However, Primera Miracle Essence works well enough that I will keep using it until I run out. But I won’t go out of my way to obtain this again.
