I love cleansing my face. In general, my morning routine is all about protecting the skin, but the evening ritual is as much about actual skin benefits as it is about enjoying the process and relaxing. Cleansing is the first step of washing away the day and preparing for a restful night (unless the toddler sleeps like crap, which is always a possibility).

I only wash my face at night, so I start with an oil cleanser (Manyo Factory makes a great one - review here), and then follow with the Cica Cleansing Foam. If you are a fan of cleansing in the morning, you can skip the oil cleanser and go straight to the foam.
I’m not going to dive into details about Manyo’s clean beauty claims - you can watch this video to see what I think about “clean” beauty and other questionable marketing terms. The product is vegan, which I very much appreciate. It has no noticeable scent, as far as I can tell.
My impressions
2021 has been a year of amazing foaming cleansers for me. It used to be just a boring but needed skincare step, and now the formulas are so luxurious! The Manyo Factory Our Vegan Heartleaf Cica Cleansing Foam is lovely. I almost think they would do well with a clear tube to show off the beautiful iridescent color of the product. It makes me happy every time I use it!
The cleanser is very gentle, as promised. It leaves my skin clean, soft, and smooth, without even a hint of dryness or tightness. I have a few foaming cleansers right now, but keep reaching for this one. For the purposes of the review, I stuck to it daily for a whole week to make sure my skin would keep doing well, and it did. Now it’s a part of a small cleanser rotation and I love it.
I highly recommend this to anyone in need of an effective foaming cleanser that’s a joy to use.
