Make P:rem Hydrate Me Micro Tension Cream is formulated with arctic berry extract and plant oils to strengthen the skin barrier and improve elasticity. The cream also features three types/weights of hyaluronic acid for supreme hydration.

The cream has a nice texture of a thick gel. In the jar, it reminds me of vanilla pudding. It’s pleasant to apply and gets absorbed fairly quickly. The scent is noticeable but I happen to enjoy it, plus it doesn’t linger.
What makes me giggle is that the formula is advertised as “7 free”, yet contains BHT, which a lot of people who like clean beauty would find problematic. As I read and watch more and more doctors and scientists, I move away from ingredient-based fear mongering. It just seems inconsistent to me to advertise no parabens and yet include BHT. What I would be more cautious of, however, are all the plant extracts and essential oils. While they do not bother my skin, some people are sensitive or can develop a sensitivity.

This is a good moisturizer. I have combination skin with both oily and dry areas. I like a good moisturizer at night. The Make P:rem Hydrate Me Micro Tension Cream does what it promises to do - it nourishes the skin but doesn’t overwhelm / clog the oilier parts of my face.
I find the application experience quite pleasant, from the texture to the smell. I think for my combination skin this would be too rich in the mornings, especially during the summer, but at night it’s just right (and would probably work well as a day product in the Fall / Winter).
I will reiterate that I find the marketing on this product a little iffy to say the least - 7 free yet has BHT and tons of plant ingredients that could cause issues for sensitive skin. And before someone picks out that pesky alcohol toward the end - I personally don’t find alcohol in skincare problematic, at least not by default. Sometimes it’s needed to extract the plant components or to make the formula lighter / not sticky. If this were a toner and a drying alcohol started the ingredients list, then that would be a different story. But in a moisturizer and aaaaall the way at the end, I don’t have a problem with it. A skincare product is more than just a sum of its ingredients (unless you are allergic to a specific one) - a lot has to do with the formulation too.
For me, this is a good cream. For anyone else, it’s hard to tell without actually using it.
