Hands are a sore subject for me (really, they get so dry that they hurt). I even made a whole video about my tips and tricks for keeping hands in top shape in the Fall and Winter - watch it here. I’ve been fortunate to work from home for the past five months, avoiding most of the hand washing and sanitizing frenzy. However, I am now back in the office, and after just one week my skin took a beating. Good thing I had the Logically Skin Liftderm Hand Cream in my arsenal.
Spoiler alert - this is amazing and is sold on Stylevana. It contains adenosine, niacinamide, aquatide, and a proprietary liftderm complex.
A bit about aquatide:
In-Cosmetic Asia Innovation Zone Ingredient Award Winner (2016)
Patented in 4 countries (including USA and Japan)
Developed based on Nobel prize winning research on autophagy. “Autophagy is the body's way of cleaning out damaged cells, in order to regenerate newer, healthier cells, according to Priya Khorana, PhD, in nutrition education from Columbia University” (source: healthline.com).
The brand says aquatide boosts collagen production.
How to use:
Apply to clean hands as needed
My impressions
I’m no stranger to hand creams. Having the dryness issues that I do, I’ve tried tons of products. I think this is my favorite hand cream so far. The texture is a light, non-sticky gel that is absorbed quickly. Despite being light, it’s very nourishing (not like aloe gel, for example, more like gel-creams made for faces).
The scent is divine. I prefer unscented products when available, but it’s also nice to get a pleasant fragrance once in a while. My husband also enjoys it - we keep the tube next to the couch and use it in the evenings a lot. I like that it doesn’t make the TV or PS4 remotes greasy or sticky.
I’m almost out of this cream and it makes me so sad. I might have to buy more (I wish it came in a large pump bottle so I could keep it in the bathroom). Definitely give it a try if you have dry hands (preferably, before they get dry). It makes my skin so soft and smooth.
