Logically, Skin is a fairly new to me brand of Korean skincare. I have several of their products (generously sent to me by Sophie’s Beauty Box). Nearly all of their skincare uses a proprietary ingredient Aquatide. The Logically, Skin Aquatide Multi-purpose Mist is no exception. It’s sold on eBay, Amazon, Jolse, and Stylevana.
A bit about aquatide:
In-Cosmetic Asia Innovation Zone Ingredient Award Winner (2016)
Patented in 4 countries (including USA and Japan)
Developed based on Nobel prize winning research on autophagy. “Autophagy is the body's way of cleaning out damaged cells, in order to regenerate newer, healthier cells, according to Priya Khorana, PhD, in nutrition education from Columbia University” (source: healthline.com).
The brand says aquatide boosts collagen production
The spray bottle with a minimalist design houses aquatide-containing toner.
The toner promises to:
Relieve skin tightness
Nourish from within. Aquatide delivers moisture deeply to the skin, instead of leaving quickly evaporating droplets on the surface
Improve complexion and balance natural skin functions
Lift the skin
Fight wrinkles
How to use:
Mist on the skin instead of toner (this is what I do) and / or
Use throughout the day for extra hydration. The mist is very fine and will not disturb makeup
You can also saturate thin cotton pads (I like these) with the toner and use those as an express face mask.
My impressions:
I’ve owned this toner for quite some time, but only started to use it regularly a few months ago. I’ve been using Logically, Skin Aquatide Multi-purpose Mist every night during the toner step. I have combination skin and haven’t had any need to use the mist during the day for extra hydration.
I love the packaging. The mist comes out in a fine cloud, not a thick stream, and is very pleasant to use. I spritz it all over my face, chest, and neck. It offers plenty of hydration and gets absorbed quickly without a sticky residue. I also like using it before applying sheet masks.
I highly recommend you try this, especially if you are in the market for a new mist.
