A good moisturizer is crucial to any effective skincare routine. Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask promises to brighten, improve the look of wrinkles, and prevent other signs of aging. It is cruelty free, vegan friendly, and made without artificial fragrances, silicon oils, and colorants. It’s sold on Wishtrend, Amazon, YesStyle (use reward code KBHOBBIT for extra savings), and iHerb (use code CWN6107).
How to use:
Apply to clean skin after toner
Can be used as a moisturizer or a sleeping mask
The mask can also be mixed with other products, especially those containing vitamin C, which would boost the brightening effect of vitamin E.
I use this as a sleeping mask after toner and serums / ampoules.
My impressions:
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry/normal everything else. In the mornings, a simple SPF is enough of a moisturizer for me (currently loving this one by Klairs). The evening routine is a different story - without proper hydration and moisturizer, my skin gets extra oily to compensate, and the fine lines on my forehead get more noticeable.
I’ve been using Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E Mask several times a week in the evening. It only takes a small amount for the entire face and neck. Use less than you think you’ll need - this is a very rich product and you may experience stickiness if using too much. Even with a thin layer, I sometimes get a bit sticky, but that doesn’t matter to me in a nighttime product. I’m not sticking to the pillowcase and by morning all of that sensation is gone - good enough for me. Results are what matters to me in an evening treatment.
Not important to the efficacy, but still quite pleasant is the ability of the mask's surface to bounce back after each use. The product has a jello/pudding consistency and the surface always goes back to being mirror smooth. So each time it feels like you are dipping into a brand new jar of product. I had another mask like this years ago and was equally amused by it. I wish more products did that.
This is a lovely mask. It may be too much for very oily skin, but should work for dry to combination types just fine. I love how it plumps up all of my fine lines (especially on the forehead) and how smooth my skin gets by morning. I use Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin E mask on the neck as well. It’s summer right now, but I bet it would have done wonders for my dry winter hands.
