Klairs Daily Skin Hydrating Water Review

This post contains affiliate links. Product provided by Wishtrend.

I have combination skin, and for years I chose to battle the oily zones with harsh products like rubbing alcohols. The more I “degreased”, the worse things got. Now I understand that providing proper hydration, along with gentle cleansing, actually normalizes my skin.

I’ve been getting the hydration from Klairs Daily Skin Hydrating Water. It came to me as part of Wishtrend’s Team Sensitive box (review here, unboxing here). It’s available on Wishtrend (use code LUCY15 for extra savings), YesStyle (use reward code KBHOBBIT), Amazon, eBay, Stylevana, and iHerb (use code CWN6107 to save a bit more).

Klairs Hydrating Water is a watery toner that is 45% green tea water. The bottle is generously sized at 500ml / 16.9 fl oz, so it should last most people for quite some time. If you are into the 7 skin method (applying a hydrating toner up to 7 times in a row), then this is a great option.

The toner is light and should work for any skin type regardless of the season. It can be used in the morning, evening, or both. The main ingredient - green tea water - is rich in antioxidants and has anti-inflammatory properties.

How to use:

  • Apply to clean skin with hands or cotton pads (I use hands)

  • Use more than one layer for extra hydration

  • Follow with the rest of your routine (serum, cream, etc)

Klairs Daily Skin Hydrating Water is vegan and cruelty free. A full list of ingredients is available at the end of the review.

My impressions

This is a lovely hydrating toner. I don’t usually do the entire 7 skins, but may apply 2-3 if my skin is feeling parched. I like the watery texture, lack of scent, and the overall experience of using this product.

I love the generous size, although finding sink or vanity space for it can be tricky. I wonder if a pump bottle would have worked for this without being too messy since the product is liquid.

A good toner overall. Have you tried it? What did you think?
