How to use
Apply after cleansing
Leave on for 10-15 minutes
Rinse and follow with the rest of your routine
The official instructions say to apply to dry skin after cleansing, however I prefer to leave mine a bit damp. Allowing the face to air dry or using a towel dehydrates my skin.
The mask has a gel consistency with noticeable rose petal inclusions and a strong (ish) but pleasant scent.
My impressions
This is purely skintertainment for me - I don’t see any noticeable results at all. The use process is pleasant enough, however once the mask is rinsed there is no difference in my skin. If I want soothing, I would reach for I’m From mugwort mask. If I want nourishment - I’m From honey mask. Pore control? Any of the lovely clay masks on the market. The Isntree Real Rose Mask doesn’t do anything other than smell nice. There must have been a push by the brand to promote this product, because I received it in more than one PR package. And I have no desire to open the second one - it’s going straight into the donation pile.
