When I saw that Iope Stem III Ampoule promised to make me look like I slept an extra 3 hours, I had to have it! That would almost equal a recommended 8 hours of sleep for me. It is made with Allanto-Liposome™ complex to firm, brighten, improve elasticity, and reduce the signs of aging. The ampoule is available on Gachiga (read about them and their group buying here), Stylevana (discount code INF10KBH) and Amazon.
Allanto-Liposome™ complex contains a highly concentrated active ingredient 400 times smaller than the thickness of human hair to easily absorb into the skin. The ampoule holds 5 different Korean beauty awards from 2019-2021.
How to use:
Turn the lid to the right to open the bottle (the pipette will fill automatically)
Apply the product to the face (the brand recommends squeezing the drops directly on the face vs into palms first - if you do that, make sure not to touch the pipette to the skin)
Gently massage into skin in circular motions
Follow with the rest of your routine
While IOPE doesn’t specifically say to cleanse and tone the skin first, it’s what I do. I start with a double cleanse at night, then apply a very watery toner or a first treatment essence (such as this Missha one), and then follow with the Iope ampoule and a moisturizer. The ampoule can be used in the mornings as well, but I stick to vitamin C serum at that time personally.
My impressions
Ok, am I the only one who tried really hard to use the lid / pipette by pushing the button without realizing it’s supposed to be automatic? And I have a master’s degree… Moving on…
It’s rare that a luxury product completely blows my mind. Most of the time, I enjoy the elevated aesthetic and beautiful herbal scents, but can still think of a few budget friendly alternatives as well. With the IOPE Stem III Ampoule, my mind was completely blown. I love this ampoule and I don’t want to go without it. I can’t think of a cheaper alternative that makes my skin feel this way.
The application experience is beautiful - the ampoule sinks into my skin and leaves it soft and supple. I notice an overall improved appearance and a subtle glow. Is this what people who actually get sleep look like? I can’t comment much on the pigmentation improvement since that takes months and months of consistent effort, but niacinamide in the ingredients should definitely help.
Overall, I’m impressed and reach for this beautiful glass bottle often. I’m going to be sad when it’s all gone.
