Most brands have a few superstar products and some not so stellar ones. But every so often, I find a brand that nails every single treatment! Lately, that’s been the case with I’m From. You may remember my reviews of their Mugwort Mask and Honey Mask. Today’s product is another winner (and not just because I won it in a giveaway).
I’m From Honey Glow Cream contains 30.63% Honey Glow Queen - a mix of honey, black bee propolis, royal jelly, bee venom, bee pollen, turmeric, and cinnamon. It’s a rich and moisturizing cream that targets fine lines and wrinkles while supporting a healthy skin barrier. It’s sold on* eBay, Amazon, YesStyle (use reward code KBHOBBIT for extra savings), and Wishtrend.
How to Use:
Apply at the cream step of skincare (after toner/essence/serum)
Can be used morning and night.
I prefer to use this cream in the evening, because it’s so rich.
My impressions:
I have combination skin, and during the dry seasons of outdoor cold and indoor heat, it gets dehydrated. Some spots like the t-zone become oily, while my cheeks are dry and flaky. For years, I thought that having oily skin meant I needed to dry out that oil, but I was wrong. When my skin is properly moisturized, it doesn’t need to try so desperately to compensate by ramping up sebum production.
I’m From Honey Glow Cream has been amazing. The weather is constantly changing right now. This weekend, people were running around in shorts. Yesterday, we had sleet! Welcome to the Midwest. This cream is providing much needed nourishment and protection to my stressed out skin barrier. I wake up with nourished, healthy looking skin - no flaking, no oiliness.
The packaging deserves a special mention. Glass jars hold a special place in my heart - they always feel so luxurious! I love the rich, creamy texture and the light scent of the product. I apply a very thin layer, which absorbs well without stickiness. Someone with very dry skin might want to apply more generously. I’ve also used the cream on the dry and cracking areas of my hands with great success.
Overall, I’m very happy with this product. I won it, but I would definitely be OK purchasing it. I think it’s worth the price tag.
