A good cleansing oil is the first, and usually most important, step of my evening routine. It’s the fastest and easiest way to remove makeup, sunscreen, and anything else accumulated on the skin during the day. I’ve been using the newly launched I’m From Fig Cleansing Oil, available on Wishtrend (code LUCY15). The oil is made using figs grown in Haenam, the southernmost point of Korea. The natural enzymes found in figs offer gentle exfoliation and cleansing.
How to use
Gently massage 1-2 pumps of the oil over dry skin
Add water and massage a bit more
Rinse
Follow with a foaming cleanser
I’m From Fig Cleansing Oil has a wonderful texture - liquid enough to spread easily but not watery or overly drippy. It smells nearly identical to the I’m From Fig balm, which I love. The scent isn’t long lasting and is gone as soon as the oil is rinsed off.
My impressions
Finally! A good cleansing oil! I had such an epic fail with the Haruharu one that I was ready for something good. I’m From Fig didn’t disappoint. I loved the cleansing balm from the same line, and the oil definitely lived up to the expectations.
I use this all over the face, including the eyes, to remove SPF and makeup - it works wonderfully. My combination skin is clean but not stripped. There’s 0 eye irritation or other unwanted reactions. It takes off my minimal daily makeup as well as the more elaborate looks I come up with for filming YouTube videos.
Overall, a wonderful new launch from I’m From and definitely worth a try!
