I’ve had the pleasure of working with Glowie Co almost since their launch in 2019. It’s a California-based kbeauty retailer with global shipping. Within the US, the shipping is free (and fast!) on orders of $25+. Read more about Glowie Co here.
Today’s review is about one of the best value deals on their site - the Glowie Skin Set. And you can save even more with my affiliate code kbhobbit10 (the code works on anything on the site). Watch the unboxing IGTV here.

KAO Hot Steam Lavender Eye Mask Box
Available separately here
I thought I had something like this in the past, but no - the KAO masks are superior to any other brand I have tried. These are gentle self-warming eye masks that relax and soothe tired eyes and help my overall stress levels. I work on the computer all day, blog for fun, and spend way too much time on my phone. I find it so hard to simply “turn off” my go-go-go mentality and take a moment to just breathe. The KAO masks come in different scents. These ones are lavender and smell heavenly. The material is very soft and comfortable.
How to use:
Open one of the included envelopes
Unfold the mask and put it over the eyes, stretch the loops over the ears (I was pleased to discover that these fit comfortably, even though I have a large head and usually sheet masks with ear loops are too tight)
Lie back and relax. The comfy 40 degree Celsius heat lasts for about 30 minutes
I adore these and already eyeing other scents. Sometimes I get so overwhelmed with my day (demanding job and two young kids) that I have to lie down for a bit after dinner (my husband is a saint). I usually have a hard time relaxing even then, so I pop one of these eye masks on and feel the tension melt away. The subtle lavender scent adds to the relaxing ambiance, and the heat helps all the tight muscles in my face relax. I love this. Now could I have one the size of my entire body, please?
Neogen Day-Light Protection Sunscreen SPF50+ PA+++
Available separately here (compare the price to the Glowie Skin Set to truly appreciate the value of this package)
I already reviewed this in detail here and talked about it in my Sunscreen favorites video. To summarize, it’s a combination filter sunscreen with no white cast and a pleasant scent. It’s not greasy or sticky and I’m loving it for my combination skin. Check out the review and / or video for more information.
Annie’s Way Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask
Available separately here
After being a complete kbeauty addict for over four years, I thought nothing could surprise me when it came to sheet masks. Annie’s Way masks are made in Taiwan and I love them. The fit is perfect, the material is thin and soft, and I love all the hydration.
Annie’s Way Hyaluronic Acid Sheet Mask is made with 100% silk. The serum contains hyaluronic acid, red algae and seaweed extract. I keep mine in the fridge and use them when I need an extra dose of hydration and pampering.
Melano CC Intensive Anti Spot Essence
Available separately here
This is a Japanese beauty cult favorite for pigmentation and brightening. The product contains vitamins C and E to help fade dark spots, post-acne marks, and other imperfections. The packaging design helps the product stay fresh and potent for a long time.
I have other vitamin C products I’m currently using. No matter how good the packaging, the oxidation process starts once the seal is broken. Because of that, I am keeping this one sealed until I’m ready to commit to it. I keep reading and hearing about this all over, so I have very high hopes.
Overall, this is a wonderful set that would likely work for all skin types (mine is combination, prone to pigmentation with some early signs of aging). I like how it contains items from South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan. I’m mostly experienced with kbeauty, so it’s nice to branch out a bit.
Have you tried any of these products? What did you think?
