Dr. Jart+ DERMASK™ Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution Review

Even though I’m moving more toward wash-off masks, I still appreciate a good sheet mask once in a while. It’s a luxurious and relaxing way to get some extra hydration. My recent favorites are Dr. Jart+ DERMASK™ Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution masks.

The masks came to me as part of the AMT (Asia Master Trade) box - watch my unboxing video here. The boxes are not currently sold to the public, but their contents can be purchased individually. The Dr. Jart masks are sold on* YesStyle (save more with reward code KBHOBBIT) and Amazon. They promise to deeply hydrate and replenish the skin.

The AMT #1 BARRIER PROTECTION Box Contained:

  • AXIS-Y Artichoke Intensive Skin Barrier Ampoule 30ml (read the review here)

  • Dr. Jart+ DERMASK™ Water Jet Vital Hydra Solution 2x

  • KRAVE Beauty Great Skin Barrier Relief (read the review here)

  • Reusable Cotton Pads 2x

To learn more about AMT, visit their Instagram. All of the boxes in the series were made in collaboration with AXIS-Y. You can find them on Instagram as well.

How to use:

  • Apply to clean skin after toner

  • Remove after 15-20 minutes

  • Pat in the remaining serum, seal in with moisturizer

My impressions

Does Dr. Jart make any bad products? I’ve never come across one. I’ve liked everything I tried, and these sheet masks are no exception.

The cellulose sheet is thin and comfortable to use. The sizing fits me pretty well (so far, no sheet mask has been completely perfect). Obviously, using two sheet masks isn’t enough to talk about long term results, but I do see an immediate hydration boost. The fine lines on my forehead become less noticeable, and overall the skin looks more nourished and smoothed out.

While hydrogel is still my favorite material for sheet masks, these are a very good option for some much needed hydration, especially in the cold / dry seasons.
