Dr.Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis 33 Cream Review

During my first two-three years with kbeauty, I wasn’t super excited about moisturizers. It was a familiar product category and not nearly as thrilling as the new-to-me serums, ampoules, and exfoliators. But now that I’m a more seasoned kbeauty user, I appreciate a great moisturizer. It can truly make or break a routine, especially if the finish is unpleasant.

Dr.Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis 33 Cream, available on Oshen Skin (discount code KBHOBBIT10), is a multi-purpose moisturizer with 335,000ppm Propolis Extract. Propolis is one of my favorite soothing ingredients. The star ingredients of propolis, royal jelly, vitamins B3 and B3, and vitamin C derivatives aim to nourish the skin, minimize the appearance of pores, and help with collagen production.

How to use

  • Apply at the end of your routine (before SPF)

  • Gently pat in

  • Can be used morning or night (or both)

Dr.Ceuracle Royal Vita Propolis 33 Cream has a thick, smooth texture that melts into the skin. I notice a very slight, pleasant scent (but only if specifically trying to sniff the product). It doesn’t linger and some people may not detect it at all.

My impressions

My love for this cream started with a travel kit (review here). We were visiting Denver in the Fall, and the air was so dry that even my combination skin begged for mercy. SPF is typically enough of a morning moisturizer for me, but in Colorado weather my skin needed more. I used this both morning and night, and had to get it in full size after finishing the trial tub.

The texture is rich and silky without being overwhelming. I didn’t have any stickiness in Denver, but now that we are home I notice a bit of a tacky feeling if using too much. While it’s still cold and yucky out, I am back to mostly using SPF as my morning moisturizer and Dr.Ceuracle Royal Vita is in my rotation of evening creams.

My skin loves this - by morning, all the dry areas are soothed and nourished, but the oily t-zone isn’t congested. Even my fine lines are less noticeable (good moisture and hydration will do that). I apply this all over, including the eye area, chest and neck. And it’s a lovely cream for those times that I get a bit overzealous with tretinoin use.

I can’t comment on the appearance of pores claims as I use other products for that (usually clay masks, gentle exfoliation, and retinoids). Dehydrated skin almost always looks less than ideal, and I can see how a good moisturizer that locks in hydration may help everything look smoother overall.

I adore this cream and it’s another huge Dr.Ceuracle win for me. My experience with the brand overall has been wildly inconsistent - some products end up being holy grails while others are complete garbage. The cream is a holy grail.
