Lately, I’ve been really appreciating good moisturizers. I used to shy away from creams since my skin is combination, but now I understand that a good quality one can make everything visibly smoother, plumper, and more moisturized.
One of my recent discoveries is Dixionist Cyforest™ Essence Infusion Cream, available on eBay. It’s a new to me brand (I also have their toner and like it) that’s an off-shoot of It’s Skin, which is a well known player in the world of kbeauty.
This cream is infused with an essence, has a gel consistency and a light, non-sticky finish. It’s made with Essence Infusion System ™ and is supposed to combine the essence and moisturizer steps in one. I do not notice a scent.
How to use:
Apply on clean skin after toner
Gently pat in
Follow with SPF if using in the morning
Dixionist Cyforest™ Essence Infusion Cream contains 87% cypress leaf extract to promote hydration. Other star ingredients are hyaluronic acid, beta-glucan, and squalane. Willow bark extract can help balance out oil production and reduce the appearance of pores. A full list is available at the end.
My impressions
What a lovely cream! I don’t usually apply moisturizer in the morning during the warm months (my SPF is enough), but I’ve been using the Dixionist cream and really like it. It plumps up my skin without leaving behind a heavy or sticky residue. However, I mostly enjoy it at night.
I love how the product glides on the skin and then gets absorbed quickly and effortlessly. I’ve used it by itself and also after additional essences and serums with great results. The 2-in-1 concept is nice, but if you can’t picture your routine without a separate essence, you don’t have to give that up - the cream will still work.
