Cosrx Low pH Centella Cleansing Powder Review

Updated: Oct 27, 2020

This lovely package with Cosrx Low pH Centella Cleansing Powder came to me in a By Sophie Box. It contains 30 individual capsules with a very fine white powder. Mixed with water, it works as a second cleanser. It’s sold on* eBay, Amazon, YesStyle, and Stylevana.

How to use:

  • In the morning or at night (after removing makeup)

  • Wet your hands and face

  • Empty one capsule into your palm, add a bit of water (just a few drops usually does the trick)

  • Work into a creamy foam

  • Gently massage the face, avoiding eyes and lips

  • Rinse

Cosrx Low pH Centella Cleansing Powder has a pH of 5.6. It will work for any skin type, but may be especially beneficial to those with sensitive skin, people who suffer from blackheads and comedones, enlarged pores and poor oil-water balance.

The packaging makes it a very convenient product to take with you. Think gym bag, weekend getaway, vacation, etc. I do sincerely hope I can take a vacation again someday… Sigh.

My impressions:

I don’t even know why, but I haven’t owned too many Cosrx products. After these fun capsules, I want to try more. I loved both the packaging and the effects.

I have combination skin with an oily t-zone. Right now it’s hot outside (hello, Summer) and my pores aren’t behaving. Cosrx Low pH Centella Cleansing Powder cleanses very well without stripping or over drying the skin. It noticeably improves my skin texture, especially to the touch, and even skin tone. At least that’s my impression. My skin looks brighter.

I haven’t noticed any scent, which is another plus in my book.

I highly recommend this product to anyone, especially for the summer. It’s fun to use, effective, and overall great. And especially pay attention to this if you have teens - I think it would do wonders for the acne prone oily teenage skin (see this video for more teen skincare tips).
