COSNORI Silk Repair Nail Cream Review

I love doing my nails. Almost nothing gives me more joy than having beautiful fingernails. I typically do my own using different Korean stickers or press ons (check out my Nails playlist on YouTube for tutorials). In between sets, I try to really nourish and rehydrate my nails to make sure they stay healthy and beautiful even when bare.

Until now, I’ve been using regular hand cream or whatever didn’t work on my face for my hands. I’ve used cuticle balms in the past, but they were oily / greasy and I didn’t like that feeling. When I saw COSNORI Silk Repair Nail Cream on Jolse, I had to try it.

COSNORI Silk Repair Nail Cream

COSNORI Silk Repair Nail Cream is specifically formulated for nails and fingers and is enriched with silk extract to form a protective barrier on the skin/nails. It’s a rich, thick formula that still isn’t greasy or unpleasant.

How to use

  • Massage a small amount into nails and fingers any time the skin feels dry

The nail cream comes in a tube with a pointed nozzle, which makes dispensing very convenient. I squeeze out a little drop at the base of each nail, then gently massage in. I do not notice much of a scent.

My impressions

This is such a fun product. It’s a small ish tube, only 15ml, but it takes just drops for the nails, so it should still last me for several months. I use it in-between nail sticker applications and my nails look significantly better. They aren’t dry and have a healthy sheen (but no grease). My preferred way of using this cream is to apply it to the nails and cuticles right before bed, followed by hand cream for the rest of the hands.

COSNORI cream is great but it’s also important to have realistic expectations. If your nails are already very very dry, damaged, and cracked, it’s best to simply cut them and then focus on re-growing healthy nails. That’s why applying the cream to the base / cuticle is helpful - to nourish new growth at the base.

Overall, I like this cream. It’s more nourishing / concentrated than my usual hand creams, and it does make a visible difference in the health of my nails. I’m excited to have this as we are heading into Fall / Winter, when I struggle so much to keep my hands and nails in good shape.
