I’m the first to openly admit that makeup is not my forte. I enjoy it if I have the time to sit and play with various tubes and pans, and I like how some makeup makes me look, but I’m not as obsessed with decorative cosmetics as I am with skincare. However, I got to try some really fun products this year, so I’m trying to publish reviews for a few of my favorites.
CLIO Prism Air Highlighter, available on YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT) and Olive Young, is a dewy formula with ultra-fine shimmer. This highlighter comes in four colors - mine is 01 Gold Sheer. You can see it in action in this video.
The packaging is sturdy and absolutely gorgeous - I get a dose of joy every time I hold it. I am not at all a contouring pro (I can’t even call myself an amateur, because I simply have no contouring experience), but I love using this highlighter on my eyes. It adds a subtle shimmer and works with all of my current eyeshadow palettes.
Because of the ultra-fine shimmer particles and a smooth formula, there’s minimal fallout - perfect for someone like me who needs makeup to be as easy as possible. The brand recommends using it on the t-zone for a sun-kissed look - I bet that works better with the Pink Sparkling or Fairy Pink colors vs my Gold Sheer.
Overall, this made me want to explore decorative makeup more.
