The Wishtrend family of brands makes some of my favorite skincare, so I’m always interested in trying their new launches. By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Milky Foaming Wash is available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), Styelvana (code INF10KBH), Wishtrend (code LUCY15), and iHerb (code CWN6107). This gentle cleanser contains 52% green tea water and promises to make the skin a perfect canvas for subsequent skincare steps. In addition to green tea, the cleanser features papain (a gentle cleansing enzyme) and grain milk complex of oat, soybean and rice to soothe and moisturize.
How to use
Pump into wet hands
Lather well and gently massage over wet face
Rinse and follow with the rest of your routine
The texture is a dream - it’s smooth, soft, gentle, and overall amazing. Wishtrend describes it as a “satisfying matcha latte gel texture” and I couldn’t agree more. Aside from providing a cool sensory experience, this special “tight knit gel network formula” provides a stabilized environment for the ingredients.
1-2 pumps gently foam to cover my entire face and neck. I use this around the eyes as well with no irritation. Of course, your experience may differ.
My impressions
I love this! Don’t get me wrong - I have no negative feelings for the original By Wishtrend enzyme powder wash, but it didn’t steal my heart and I had no burning desire to keep getting it again and again. I absolutely have that desire for the Milky version - it’s AMAZING.
I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and only cleanse in the evenings. My preferred method is double cleansing - starting with an oil or a balm, then proceeding with a foaming wash. I follow the same order when using By Wishtrend Green Tea & Enzyme Milky Foaming Wash. It’s been working great for me and my skin feels so clean, smooth, and lovely. I’ve had no dryness or irritation.
I wish the bottle were larger - 140 ml / 4.73 fl oz is a pretty small size for a cleanser. Love the pump, now let’s attach it to something bigger hehe. But that’s my only complaint and I can live with it. I would absolutely get this cleanser again, and again, and again. Great job, Wishtrend!
