Atoguardiangel Foaming Wash Review

Cleansing is my favorite part of any skincare routine, including body care. It’s either a refreshing way to start the day, or a relaxing ritual before bed. Compared to the 10+ steps I do on the face, the body is often totally neglected (beyond basic cleansing). I’ve been making an effort to remedy that, especially as Spring is here and Summer with its skin-baring outfits is fast approaching.

I’ve been using Atoguardiangel Foaming Wash as my body cleanser most nights. It’s available on Amazon (I’ve known this seller for quite some time - their products are authentic). This wash is made with gentle yet effective ingredients and can be used on hands, body, and even face.

The low pH of 5-6 supports the skin’s natural barrier function. The cleanser is cruelty free, made without parabens, and is advertised as safe for all skin types. It contains houttuynia cordata to soothe the skin and calm irritations, ceramides and panthenol for barrier support, hyaluronic acid for hydration. Of course, it’s always a good idea to review the ingredients list for any personal preferences or sensitivities (provided at the end of the review).

How to use:

  • Dispense the needed amount from the foaming pump

  • Gently massage over the area to be cleansed

  • Rinse

  • Follow with the rest of your routine

I recommend applying a moisturizer while the skin is still damp, to lock in as much moisture as possible. Atoguardiangel makes a lotion and a cream (reviews coming soon).

The pump dispenser produces generous, fluffy foam that has a light, pleasant scent (it doesn’t linger). This probably comes from the essential oils in the ingredients.

My impressions

This is a lovely foaming wash. I’ve been using it on the body, even though it’s OK for the face as well. I do have quite an array of facial cleansers currently, so I thought the body could use some love. I like how it gets rid of my post-workout sweaty smell (yes, I went there, it’s important to mention) without drying out the skin. I’ve used it all over, including for shaving and after, without any issues.

While my face is combination, my body skin is mostly dry, so it’s important to have a cleanser that will get rid of sweat and bacteria without drying me out. The Atoguardiangel does the job well. I haven’t noticed any dryness or discomfort - just clean, supple skin. I highly recommend it!
