Atoguardiangel Concentrated Cream Review

Summer is here (but all the Game of Thrones fans know that winter is coming), which means some of us are choosing to bare a bit more skin than usual. I’ve been trying to show some love to my body, which is often neglected compared to my face.

I start by cleansing with Atoguardiangel foaming wash (review here) and then moisturizing with either their lotion (review here) or cream. Today’s review is for the Atoguardiangel Concentrated Cream - available on Amazon (trusted vendor).

Atoguardiangel Cream is designed to moisturize and strengthen the skin barrier. The main purpose of our skin barrier is to keep good things like water in and keep the bad things (irritants, pollution, etc) out. A compromised barrier can present as dry, itchy, red, or irritated skin. In addition to nourishing shea butter and jojoba, the formula includes soothing centella asiatica, barrier restoring ceramide NP, and hyaluronic acid.

The cream is clinically tested to be non-irritating. However, it’s always a good idea to review the ingredients provided at the end of the article if you have individual intolerances or preferences. The texture is rich and luxurious but not greasy. Applying too much can cause some absorption issues - a little more than a pea sized amount covers a whole leg for me. There is no greasy or sticky residue, which is great.

How to use:

  • Apply to areas in need of nourishment

  • Gently massage to help with absorption

  • Can be used multiple times a day, as needed

I like to use this while the skin is still damp from bathing to lock in as much hydration as possible. I generally don’t reapply throughout the day, instead opting in for the Atoguardiangel lotion because of its convenient pump dispenser and lighter texture.

Atoguardiangel Concentrated Cream has a noticeable but pleasant scent which doesn’t last long. I personally enjoy it.

My impressions

This is a very good intensive moisturizer. It could be used on the face as well, but would be too rich for my combination skin. It’s perfect for my very dry body, especially the calves / ankles - the skin there can get so dry it starts to flake.

I love how soft and smooth my skin is, and that lasts well into the next day. While “perfect” skin is definitely not required to wear shorts and dresses (and my skin is far from perfect), I like how much better my legs look now. I wish I had this in the Fall and Winter, when the dryness was at its worst.

I definitely recommend this cream to any fellow people with dry skin in need of some love and care.
