Am I the only one who sees a friend raving about the product and then thinks “hmmm, I vaguely remember having this in my pile of unopened tubes”? That’s exactly what happened to me with this peach cream…
Amuse Vegan Peach Cream contains 50,000ppm of peach biome and promises a healthy, peachy glow with an added bonus of SPF30 protection. The cream is available on Amazon, YesStyle (reward code KBHOBBIT), and Stylevana (code INF10KBH). It comes in two colors - 01 Rosy and 02 Bare. I have Rosy.
How to use (from the brand)
Use before applying makeup.
Dispense a moderate amount and apply evenly onto skin using a beauty sponge or brush
I don’t follow these exact instructions. I use my fingers to apply, doing so after my main sunscreen dries down. Most of the time, I finish the process with a bit of blush and translucent powder without any other complexion makeup (no bb creams, foundation, etc). Play around and see what works for you.
Some dermatologists say that SPF30 is enough for daily, non-beach sun protection for most people. I personally prefer SPF50, so Amuse Vegan Peach Cream acts more like light makeup for me than sunscreen. If you are going to use this as your only SPF, please make sure to apply 2-3 finger lengths to your face, neck, eyes and ears.
The coverage is light and won’t hide significant discoloration or blemishes. I notice a faint, pleasant scent that’s not long lasting.
My impressions
This is a very interesting addition to my morning routine, even though I don’t use it daily. Amuse Vegan Peach Cream makes my skin look like itself but better, improving skin tone and brightness. Plus, it’s an added level of SPF. I make every effort to do a thorough sunscreen application before Amuse, but skip spots are real, so layering SPF products makes sense.
Even though this is a quick and pretty easy step, I still don’t use the cream daily. Some mornings, the absolute most I can do is SPF and some mascara. Maybe not even mascara. Some days it’s pure survival mode.
Overall, I’m not sure I would repurchase this cream (Heimish Artless Glow base gives me a similar, if not better, effect with SPF50), but i’m glad I have it and will definitely finish my tube.
