Abib Heartleaf Spot Pad Calming Touch Review

This post contains affiliate links. I won this product.

I have combination skin and keep my morning routine very minimal - a toner pad, vitamin C serum, and sunscreen. That’s it. So I’m always hunting down the latest and greatest pad options. I’m currently using Abib Heartleaf Spot Pad Calming Touch ones, available on YesStyle (save with reward code KBHOBBIT) and the official Amazon Abib store.

I won these pads through Picky (highly recommend that app. Sign up here using invitation code 982961C6). Watch the unboxing reel here.

Abib spot pads promise to calm sensitive skin, soothe breakouts / spots, and even improve skin texture due to the gauze side of the pads. The star ingredient is heartleaf extract for clear and healthy skin.

How to use:

  • Suitable for morning or evening

  • Gently swipe over the skin at the toner stage

  • Can be placed on troubled areas as a DIY sheet mask

  • Follow with the rest of your routine

The package includes cute tweezers housed in the lid. I usually use my clean hands, but these pads are quite thin, so tweezers prove useful. One side of each round is smooth and another textured - choose one based on your skin’s needs at the moment. Even the embossed side is pretty gentle (I still use a separate exfoliator a few times a week).

Abib Heartleaf Spot Pads are smaller and thinner than other pads I’ve had. That’s not a bad thing, but I thought I would mention it. It’s still enough to use over my face and neck.

My impressions

These pads have been a welcome addition to my morning routine. The solution is light and watery - very pleasant to use. I love the flip top lid as that’s a lot more convenient for me than screw-on lids.

I don’t notice any scent, which is another plus. I like having the mask use as an option if my skin is irritated or breaking out. I haven’t had a chance to test that much because my face has been behaving lately (thank you, face).

Overall, a lovely refreshing product that would hopefully work for all skin types. I would prefer to have the rounds just a bit thicker so they would be easier to separate from each other, but that’s not a deal breaker by any means.
