Hands are my most troubled area when it comes to keeping the skin healthy and beautiful. They dry out, crack, bleed, itch, and cause all kinds of discomfort, especially in the winter. I’ve had a great experience with my last Missha hand cream (review here), so I decided to try Missha Ceramide Capsule Hand Cream this time. It’s available on* eBay, Amazon, and YesStyle.
The cream is designed for people who experience dry skin, either seasonally or chronically. It can be used on hands and any other dry areas, like knees and elbows.
Active ingredients:
Ceramide capsules - ceramides are natural fats that make up over 50% of the skin. They form a protective barrier, hold in the moisture, and prevent pollution and other outside factors from negatively impacting the skin. The ceramide levels go down under the influence of age and sun. The capsules in this cream restore some of the lost ceramides, helping the hands look their best.

My impressions:
Despite being very rich and nourishing, the Missha Ceramide Capsule Hand Cream isn’t greasy or sticky. I carry the tube (conveniently sized at 2.02 fl oz / 60ml) in my purse and use it daily. The ceramide capsules break up easily during application - no need to apply any sort of force.
The scent is fairly robust but pleasant, and dissipates quickly. I let a coworker use this cream and she ended up ordering two tubes for herself right away - it’s an instant crowd favorite. My skin has been behaving quite well since I started to consistently use this product - it is soft and supple; I’ve had no bleeding cracks (a huge improvement).
