I love patches! Korean beauty products (and any other ones, really) rarely produce immediate results, but patches usually do. And the effects get better and better the more you use them. The Secret Key Gold Racoony patches are quite internet famous, but for me they didn’t work at all - I hated everything from the awkward shape to the parabens in the ingredients and ended up tossing most of the contents of the box in the trash (and I’m usually not wasteful).
BUT, the amazing thing about Korean skincare is how much the brands listen to consumers. I must have not been the only displeased user, as Secret Key released a new and improved Secret Key Pink Racoony Hydro-Gel Eye & Cheek Patch! I bought them because I use patches almost daily and am always looking for something new to try. These are available on YesStyle (save with reward code KBHOBBIT), Jolse, eBay and Amazon.
These babies comes in a form of a heart with a perforated line down the middle so you can tear them in two. They can be applied under the eyes, to the cheeks, and to the nasolabial folds. I sometimes put them on my forehead as well.
These cute pink hearts promise to:
Cool and soothe the skin (hot temperatures can age the skin faster)
Moisturize
Improve elasticity
Slow down aging
Nourish
Brighten
The patches contain rose water to soothe, gold to improve elasticity, shea butter to nourish, grapefruit extract to improve skin tone, and sodium hyaluronate to hydrate.
How to use:
Apply to clean skin after toner
Leave on for 20-30 minutes (the patches will mold to your skin and adhere better and better as the time passes)
Remove, discard, and follow with your usual routine

My impressions:
These are simply great. I’m glad I didn’t give up on this brand completely after my first unfortunate experience with their Gold Racoony patches. The pink ones work great for me. They get rid of any puffiness (including after crying) very well, plump up any fine lines I might have, and even help my forehead line look less deep and way less noticeable. I love that the shape is versatile and thus can be used on various areas of the face. If you are looking for an affordable patch with good ingredients and great effects, give these a try.
