The MISSHA Herb in Nude series of sheet masks is made with different types of tea to address various skin concerns. I have combination skin with an oily t-zone and dry-to-normal cheeks and these masks work well for me. They are sold on* eBay and Amazon.
The range includes six mask types:
Purifying care - mint tea to detoxify
Vitality care - hibiscus tea to brighten the complexion
Nutrition care - earl grey tea to firm and nourish
Soothing care - lavender tea to soothe
Firming care - rooibos tea to firm
Hydrating care - green tea to hydrate
I have purchased different batches of them a few times, and I think I have tried every type by now, several more than once. I tend to keep the Soothing and Hydrating care masks around at all times as they are my favorites, especially in the cold seasons.
How to use:
Apply to a clean face after toner
Relax for 10-20 minutes
Remove, pat in the remaining essence, follow with your regular routine
All of these masks contain trehalose, allantoin, and other anti-aging “goodies”, plus specialized ingredients depending on the mask type. I’ve included full ingredients list for each mask type at the end of the review.
My impressions:
Some general thoughts on all the masks from this line - the material is see through thin and very nice, the adherence is superb! You could probably do household chores while wearing these, but I choose to lounge around or sit in a warm bath (the steam helps the active ingredients penetrate deeper, by the way, plus I’m always cold). There’s more than enough serum, but not so much that it drips. The whole experience, from the material to the scent to the packaging, feels high end. I think these would be a good gift for someone for that reason.
I use Soothing or Purifying care when my skin is having “issues”, as in redness or small blemishes. The masks calm those things down very well. The Hydrating care mask is my go to during the cold seasons when the skin tends to dry out more than usual, and after any sort of bubbling/cleansing masks (like this one).
There’s definitely serum left on the skin once the mask is removed. I like to let it absorb for 5-10 minutes and then follow with a good cream (reviews here) and go to bed.
