Collagen is a very important skin building block that has anti-aging and firming effects (and who doesn’t want that?). Sadly, with time and environmental factors, collagen production slows down and we start to see sagging, first lines and other unpleasant signs of age.
I bought this Beyond Intensive Ampoule Collagen Sheet Mask on Facetory, but I can’t remember now if it came in one of the subscription boxes (read about those here) or if I got it separately. I really do buy a lot of sheet masks. It’s also available on eBay and Amazon.
The mask sheet itself is made from cupra - a cotton derived material that is very soft on the skin and adheres very well. Cupra is then saturated with a collagen-rich ampoule which also contains niacinamide and adenosine - great anti-aging ingredients that address pigmentation.
How to use:
Apply to a clean face after toner
Relax for 10-20 minutes
Remove and pat in the excess ampoule
Follow with cream
My impressions:
I think I need more masks by the Beyond brand if they are all this good. I loved the great fit and the pleasant smell. More importantly, my face felt instantly more plump and hydrated, and the effect lasted for several days. I have absolutely no complaints and would gladly repurchase this (but first I should probably use up the massive amounts of sheet masks I already own!).
I don't try to always look so angry in sheet masks, but it just happens :)
