This wonderful green bottle completes my Purito centella collection (read reviews for the pads, toner, face cream and eye cream).
The Purito Centella Green Level Buffet serum supports a healthy skin barrier, lightens pigmentation, improves the look of wrinkles and hydrates. It’s available on eBay and Amazon.
Active ingredients:
Centella Asiatica extract - a healing, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial herbal extract.
Niacinamide - reduces pigmentation, tightens pores, improves the look of wrinkles and fine lines.
Asiaticoside, asiatic acid - an active wrinkle fighting ingredient derived from centella asiatica.
Madecassic acid - another component isolated from centella asiatica. Speeds up wound healing by stimulating collagen synthesis.
Hydrolyzed collagen - the building block of skin. With age and sun exposure, the production of collage slows down; this serum restores some of its levels to the skin
Peptides - with age, the amount of protein in the skin decreases, and the first wrinkles are formed. Peptides are protein ingredients that strengthen the skin, prevent aging and improve elasticity. The peptide molecules are much smaller than protein ones and can penetrate deeper into the skin, restoring it from within.
The serum comes in a classic Purito pump bottle. I enjoy this type of packaging more than the droppers because it keeps the air out of the product and because I can dispense it with one hand.
How to use:
Apply to a clean face after toner (I like pairing with the Purito Centella Toner)
Gently pat in to ensure absorption
Follow with lotion and/or cream (and SPF in the morning!)
My impressions:
Instant love. Really. And no, not just because the brand sent this to me for free. I really, truly, genuinely love Purito (which is how and why I started working with them in the first place). The serum is light but effective. It gets absorbed quickly with no stickiness, and soothes the skin almost instantly. Any sign of redness or irritation is gone by morning (I mostly use this at night, although I have in the AM as well). I don’t break out often, but having fair skin means that looking at it wrong causes redness, so I still use soothing products regularly.
If you have sensitive, easily irritated, acne prone skin - try this. And if you are like me - having first signs of aging while still occasionally breaking out like a teenager, then try this. The serum blends anti-aging and anti-blemish ingredients perfectly.
