Manyo Factory 4GF Eye Cream Review

Updated: Oct 27, 2020

Aging is a … witch! Thankfully, there are many tools of varying intensity, invasiveness and cost to help with all the age-related cosmetic issues. Korean beauty and skincare offers innovative technologies at fairly reasonable prices, especially when compared to Western alternatives.

One of these innovative products is the Manyo Factory 4GF Eye Cream. The cream contains 4 different growth factors to care for tired, sagging skin. It’s clinically proven to reduce wrinkles and make the skin more resilient. The product is tested by dermatologists and ophthalmologists and is not comedogenic (won’t clog pores). The cream is EWG (environmental working group) certified as safe. It’s available on* eBay and Amazon.

According to the brand, the biggest contributors to aging skin and wrinkles are: UV damage, reduced collagen and elastin production, compromised skin barrier and dehydration. The ingredients in this cream address those factors.

Active ingredients:

  • 4 growth factors - EGF, FGF, IGF, TGF - reinforce the skin, making it plumper, firmer and more resilient.

  • Adenosine - KFDA (Korean Food and Drug Administration) approved ingredient for wrinkle reduction.

  • Acetyl hexapeptide - the extremely small particles are easily absorbed by the skin and help mitigate the damage caused by repeat muscle motions such as smiling and frowning.

  • Low and high molecular hyaluronic acid - attracts environmental moisture to the tissues.

  • Vitamin B5 - panthenol deeply moisturizes.

  • Shea butter - seals in moisture to keep the skin plump and nourished longer.

  • Hydrolyzed collagen - after the age of 20, collagen production slows and causes loss of firmness.

  • Bifidus and lactobacillus - fermented substances that support a healthy skin barrier.

How to use:

  • Twice a day, apply to the area around the eyes.

  • The cream can also be used on the other problem areas such as the forehead, neck, and nasolabial folds. In that case, use it after essence and serum but before heavier moisturizers.

My impressions:

This is a very high quality, effective nourishing and anti-aging eye cream. In general, Manyo Factory products have not disappointed me. After the first use I had plumped up, nourished skin and a visible reduction in tiny lines that I’m starting to notice in the last couple of years. But to get the full effects of the product, be patient - I saw them only after a couple weeks of use (or maybe even a bit more - I lose track of time a bit at times). The skin becomes firmer, plumper, and has fewer lines. My eyelids and the surrounding areas aren’t dry, so I prefer to use this cream only at night and not twice a day. For me, it’s a bit heavy for mornings, especially right now that it’s summer. Overall, I highly recommend this product.
