Have you ever heard the saying that one can’t be too skinny or too rich? In my opinion, pores can’t be too small. There’s no limit to perfection. I’m not a dermatologist, but to me the key to small pores consists of two stages:
Cleansing
Tightening
This post is about the second stage (and how hard it is to be me).
In the first part of the pore care, I told you how I cleanse them with Innisfree Jeju Volcanic Blackhead Out Balm (review here). But, of course, simply cleansing is not enough. You also have to reduce the pore size and prevent future clogs.
All fellow hoarders, rejoice - this product WILL NOT replace your existing serums and ampoules but compliment them. It’s applied as the last stage of skincare before makeup. I apply it over my sunscreen. If you use decorative makeup, that would go next. The product immediately visually tightens the pores and lightly mattifies the face. The BB cream goes on like a dream (I’m using this one). But the best test for me was the BCD foundation sample, which many people know just falls right into the pores and looks awful. Well, after this ampoule even that bad product goes on well. A miracle of miracles. It's available on eBay and Amazon.
The product also has a cumulative effect, meaning that the pores will behave better and better with regular use. The 8 ingredient tannin complex helps make them smaller.
I love the dispenser. The usual dropper design but instead of a little rubber tip at the top this one has a stylish blue button. The Saem always nails packaging, in my opinion.
The scent is light and very pleasant, similar the their eye bear stick. There’s no feeling of tightness. The product doesn’t contain parabens, artificial colors, benzophenone, triethanolamine, triclosan. I basically have nothing to extract now even if I feel like it.
Oh, about how hard it is to be me - any time the husband and I go somewhere, by the time I get to this ampoule, he’s all ready to go take over the world, while I still have to do makeup, curl my hair, suck in my stomach to the backbone, etc. But at least my pores are prettier! :)
