107 Micro Drizzle Hydro Toner Review

You may have noticed my growing obsession with 107 as a brand - I love their face wash, cream, and vitamin C. In fact, so far every product I’ve tried has been wonderful. My current favorite is 107 Micro Drizzle Hydro Toner, available on the official 107 website (discount code CircleApr15), Amazon, and Jolse.

107 Micro Drizzle Hydro Toner

This is a lightweight, hydrating toner with no added fragrance and skin-loving pH of 5.2-6.2. The star ingredients are 7-year aged vinegar, Japanese camellia leaf extract, plus hyaluronic acid with three different molecular sizes.

If you are worried about the vinegar part - nothing about 107 skincare products screams “vinegar”. If I didn’t know it was there, I wouldn’t have guessed. This is not your regular salad dressing ingredient, it’s an elegantly formulated treatment that’s great for the skin and not irritating at all. The specially aged vinegar is purified to make it even more effective. Here’s what the brand says about this ingredient: “It contains a potent complex of vitamins and postbiotics (including 17 different amino acids, acetic acid, lactic acid and malic acid) that helps to exfoliate skin and provide antibacterial, antifungal, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory protection”.

How to use

  • Apply after cleansing to the face and neck

  • Gently pat in

  • Use more than one layer, if desired

  • Follow with the rest of your routine

  • Can be used morning and / or night

I’ve been trying to find the words to describe the texture. The best I can do is “soft”. Yes, the toner is watery but it’s not runny. I haven’t had a product quite like it before. My favorite way to use micro drizzle is at night, applying it all the way down to the chest. Usually, 1-2 layers are enough for me. I use my palms, but cotton pads are a suitable option as well. There is no noticeable scent.

My impressions

I have combination skin that likes to keep things interesting. Oily t-zone? Yes. Dry, flaking cheeks? Sure. Dehydration? Sign me up. I keep my morning routines simple, because too many products make my skin too shiny. But in the evenings I like to take some time to hydrate and nourish.

107 Micro Drizzle Hydro Toner is a somewhat new addition to my evening routine, but I keep reaching for it every night. I’m noticing fewer dry spots and the forehead lines are plump and less visible. Despite the vinegar having exfoliating properties, I find the product gentle and suitable for daily use. My skin loves it.

I’m excited to continue to use this and see what it might do for my skin on a longer term basis. But the first impressions are stunning (and I’m kind of hard to impress). Another win from 107 - I cannot see what they come up with next!
